The honest short answer: a custom figurine of one person from a photo costs between about ₹2,000 and ₹6,000 in India for most people, with cheaper small miniatures from marketplace sellers around ₹1,600 and large full-colour scan statues going past ₹10,000. The longer answer is more useful, because two figurines at the same price can be very different objects.

Typical prices by type (one person)

  • Small 3D-printed miniature from a marketplace seller: ₹1,500 to ₹3,000. Often FDM plastic, sometimes unpainted or lightly painted, 8 to 12 cm. Ordering usually happens over WhatsApp.
  • Paint-it-yourself figurine kit: ₹2,000 to ₹3,500. Resin figure, primed, with matched numbered paints and a guide. Ours is ₹2,299 for one person, with the paints, brushes, varnish, guide and delivery included.
  • Painted cartoon or chibi figurine from a studio: ₹2,500 to ₹6,000. Someone paints it before it ships, so you're paying for an artist's hours.
  • Bobblehead or caricature: ₹2,500 to ₹7,000, frequently from an overseas workshop with shipping built into the price.
  • Full-colour 3D-scan statue: ₹4,000 to ₹15,000 and up, scaling with height. Realistic, fragile, and the only option that captures your body exactly rather than interpreting a photo.

What moves the price

Number of people

Every maker charges per figure, because every figure is sculpted, printed and finished separately. Expect each additional person to add ₹1,000 to ₹5,000 depending on the type. Our tiers are ₹2,299 for one, ₹3,299 for two, ₹4,299 for three and ₹5,299 for four, so each extra person is ₹1,000. A pet is ₹999 added to a people figurine, or ₹1,999 on its own.

Painted or unpainted

Painting a 13 cm figure well takes an experienced artist one to two hours. That labour is most of the gap between a ₹2,300 kit and a ₹4,500 painted piece of the same sculpt. A kit moves the painting to you, which only makes sense if you want to do it; if you don't, the painted version is the right buy and the price is fair.

Size and material

Resin and full-colour sandstone cost more per cubic centimetre than FDM plastic, and price grows faster than height because volume does. A 10 cm figure and a 20 cm figure of the same person are not twice apart in cost; the larger one is closer to four times the material and print time. Most gift-sized figurines land at 12 to 15 cm for this reason. Ours are 13 to 14 cm on a black pedestal.

Delivery, GST and the quiet extras

Look for three things that appear after the headline price: shipping (₹100 to ₹400 within India, or import duties on overseas bobbleheads), a "design fee" or "proof fee" charged before you've seen anything, and payment-gateway or COD charges. A seller who shows one all-inclusive number is easier to compare. We charge nothing extra at checkout: delivery across India is free and the price on the pricing page is the price you pay. Cash on delivery, if you choose it, adds a small COD fee that is shown before you confirm.

What ₹2,299 buys here, specifically

  • A 13 to 14 cm resin figurine of one person, sculpted from your photo, 3D-printed to order, primed white, standing on a black pedestal.
  • Every paint colour the figurine needs, hand-mixed to the approved preview and poured into numbered pots (usually 8 to 20).
  • Brushes and a pot of clear varnish for the finish.
  • A folded painting guide with a numbered map of your figurine, plus a QR code to a phone walkthrough.
  • Free standard delivery to any serviceable PIN code in India, with WhatsApp tracking.
  • A preview you approve before paying, with three free attempts per phone number.

Is a cheaper marketplace miniature a bad buy?

Not necessarily. For ₹1,600 you can get a small printed figure that's a nice desk object. What you usually don't get is a preview before paying, matched paints, a base, or a stated material. Ask for those four things; if the answers are good, the price is good.

How much does a custom figurine cost in India?+

Most custom figurines of one person cost ₹2,000 to ₹6,000 in India in 2026. Small marketplace miniatures start around ₹1,600, paint-it-yourself kits sit around ₹2,300 (Bombay Print Lab charges ₹2,299 with delivery included), painted studio figurines run ₹2,500 to ₹6,000, and large full-colour 3D-scan statues cost ₹4,000 to ₹15,000.

How much is a custom couple figurine in India?+

Typically ₹3,000 to ₹10,000 depending on type. Bombay Print Lab's two-person paint-it-yourself kit is ₹3,299 including delivery; painted couple figurines from studios usually cost ₹5,000 to ₹9,000; scan statues of two people start around ₹8,000.

Why are some figurines so much cheaper than others?+

Material (FDM plastic versus resin or sandstone), size, whether an artist paints it before shipping, and whether you see a preview before paying. A ₹1,600 miniature and a ₹4,500 painted figurine of the same photo can both be fairly priced; they are different products.

Are there hidden charges when ordering a custom figurine?+

Often: shipping, a design or proof fee, import duties on overseas orders, and COD or gateway charges. Ask for one all-inclusive figure. Bombay Print Lab's price includes the figurine, paints, brushes, varnish, guide and free delivery across India, with nothing added at checkout.
